Slowly woven on re-constructed vintage denim machines to produce this dense and durable moleskin fabric! In brand-new condition, the surface is smooth with a velvet-like texture. With ongoing use, a 'rough out' like texture will develop as it ages to a very tasteful vintage look.
This pair features all the details you’d expect from Momotaro, with Momo copper buttons, hidden copper rivets and chain stitch construction for extra durability! Momo has chosen a cowhide leather patch that will age to a soulful look with time!
Fitting-wise, this model is a mid-high rise, high-tapered fit. We find it sits pretty high on the waist, features a roomy thigh, and tapers down to a tight leg opening. A modern tapered fit, with a more accommodating wait and thigh line.

The trousers are sanforized, however, because they are in raw condition, some shrinking will occur depending on the different methods of soaking or washing used:
- Cold Soak —— 0.5" in the waist; 0.75" in the inseam
- Warm Soak/Cold Machine Wash —— 0.75" in the waist; 1.25" in the inseam
- Warm Machine Wash —— 1.25" in the waist; 1.75" in the inseam
